Abstract:Three typical dynamic phenomena in the Kara Sea in the Arctic region were observed using Sentinel-1 images. Clear surface features such as ocean internal waves, eddies, and fronts were found in the SAR images of the Kara Sea. Based on the terrain and hydrodynamic structure of the Kara Sea, the SAR images of the ocean phenomena in Kara Sea are interpreted, providing a reference for the recognition and analysis of SAR image features in high-latitude areas, and contributing to the in-depth remote sensing research of spaceborne SAR ocean phenomena in the Arctic region.
