Abstract:At present, torpedo is still one of the main threats to vessel in the future battlefield, and the acquisition of torpedo position information plays an important role in torpedo defense. With the improvement of sonar detection system, the hull and towed sonar can also detect the direction of torpedo at a long distance. Therefore, the torpedo can be cross located based on the direction information measured by dual sonar. Simulate and analyze the error space distribution of the cross-location algorithm by establishing the error space distribution model under typical measurement error. Aiming at the main influence factor of DF azimuth, a cross-location algorithm based on DF azimuth filtering is proposed. Simulation results in dynamic scenes show that the algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy of torpedo position. This study can provide a basis for torpedo cross-location for single-vessel dual sonar.
