This paper presents a high-precision shipborne short-baseline(SBL) hydroacouostic positioning system based on synchronization beacons that can be quickly deployed and automatically adapted to the acoustic array. The positioning system adopts a flexible SBL fort-element array, which can be arranged on various types of test ships or survey vessels. The echo array algorithm is used to calculate the coordinate position relationship of the 4 acoustic element placement points on the test ship. Combined with the high-precision positioning GPS and orientation data from dual antenna satellites compass, the position of SBL array in the geodetic coordinate system can be quickly generated. This article describes the system principle, composition and working process of the positioning system, and completes a set of positioning system for the lake experimental field, the test results of which are relatively matched.
