The traditional box type rocket launcher is mainly loaded manually or semi-automatically,which is inefficient and dangerous and can not meet the needs of modern battlefield. This paper presents a scheme of using a loading robot for the box type launcher,and determines the basic structure and loading mode of the robot. The strain and deformation is analyzed through ANSYS software to ensure the overall stiffness and strength of loading robot meet the loading requirements. Kinematics simulation is conducted through ADMAS software to analyze the displacement and the motion of the specified centroid. Through the above research,it can be concluded that the loading robot can basically meet the loading requirements of specific rocket launcher.
